Asia’s key MICE cities are packing their event calendars with regional and international events. Here is a round-up on how busy they will be in 2023.

The Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) team is currently in the thick of the 6th edition of the Penang Roadshow to India 2023, which aims to present Penang as a preferred meetings destination for Indian travellers.

Malaysia’s Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) is again taking the road to India to showcase its MICE appeal. The PCEB is hosting the 6th edition of Penang Roadshow to India across four different cities, 13–20 February: in Mumbai (13 February – pictured), New Delhi (15 February), Chennai (17 February) and Hyderabad (20 February).

Penang’s second virtual roadshow to India early last year attracted 24 buyers and trade visitors registering from various travel trade sectors in India. Going back to its physical form, this year a total of 14 registered exhibitors together with Team PCEB will be welcoming an estimation of 800 buyers and trade visitors in total.

It was an evening to celebrate the triumphant return of the tourism and hospitality sector in Penang when the stakeholders gathered at The Tamarra By Irama Dining. In all, some 400 guests had gathered at a night of fellowship and camaraderie.
